After several years of drought, the 2017 growing season was strong with a cool, slow harvest which allowed red grapes to ripen gradually developing an aromatic, expressive wine with balanced, refreshing acidity.
Rich in color, velvety and intensely smooth from start to finish, this wine is from a single vineyard in the Napa Valley. Bold, dark boysenberry and black plum play with the earthy undertones of black pepper and anise. The bold structure and chewy tannins combine with notes of toasted oak and cocoa, leading to a complete, full finish. It’s becoming more and more rare to find a 100% Petite Sirah in Napa Valley – making this wine a delicious and memorable treat.
This limited production of 75 cases spent 20 months on 35% new French oak. The aging potential is 4-8 years.
Jamieson Ranch Vineyards is named after an historic rancher who helped to settle the Napa Valley. Today, we pay homage to the rich ranching tradition of the Napa Valley through the names of our wines. The name Versada means to traverse or travel, and we honor the ranchers, cowboys and horses that traveled to the American West and played an important role in making the Napa Valley what it is today. Like those horses, our Versada wines are commanding and elegant.

If a place of business is an option, please include the business name to ship in care of, as well as any suite building or floor numbers to ensure smooth deliveries.
